The ZoteFoam "LX" pad The LX pad is 5" X 3" X 1-1/8" thick and the center of the pad is machined out leaving a hollow cavity. The void allows the pad to better conform to the rider's neck and provides superior shock absorbsion. ZoteFoam closed cell foam is extremely resistant to perspiration, body oil, and most sun screens. This pad ships with the rubber grommets. To update from an old style pad (pipe insulation), you simply remove the old foam using a knife and drill out the rivet to remove the backing plate. Then enlarge the holes to 7/16" diameter and insert the rubber grommets into the holes. Soapy water solution makes this easier. The pad then installs in the grommets using the included cap screws.
