Handling Precaution
The Cradle is desinged to firmly support the CA2 in a workstand for routine light maintenance. It is more than strong enough for its intended application. The Cradle is however, fabricated from PVC sheet material, which is somewhat brittle. Stresses are uniformly and gradually applied during use, and do not challenge the integrity of the clamps.
Care must be taken however, to not subject the clamps to impact forces. If the Cradle is dropped on end on a hard surface, there is a high potential that the clamps will break. The photograph below is of a prototype Cradle that was dropped from shoulder height onto a concrete floor. It landed the ends of the clamp ends and the high-energy impat forces were enough to fracture the clamp.

In summary, the Cradle performs well when used as designed but it requires care as any other precision tool.
Please.... DON'T DROP THE CRADLE!!!
